We originally found Sunlight Solar while attending a Home Show. We did meet with 2 different sales reps who were no longer with the company by the time we did our install. Everything was explained clearly- I would say the toughest part for us was the approval process from our current electric provider, but Sunlight provided all the required documentation and we are officially solar! As of today we are very happy with our system and have seen a significant decrease in our bill! Thank you Sunlight Solar!

I called to cancel in the time given. They called me back over a week later and said I am breaking the contract. Its not my fault you can't answer thr phone. Now they want to charge me $5000 for nothing. They put a lien on my house. Can never get in touch with anybody. This establishment is horrible. Do not do business with this company. They are crooks.

I chose Sunlight Solar because they could handle the removal/ install of my panels as well as replacing my roof. From the initial contact I was very satisfied with the company Andre Peña was not only my sales rep but he was my main contact person. Every one of my texts were replied promptly. The process was smooth, the workers arrived on time and worked feverishly. I highly recommend Sunlight. I also highly recommend working with Andre Peña.

The 2 reps, Arthur and William, arrived right on time and were extremely polite and professional. They detected the leak which was not caused by the solar panel’s installation. They provided me with a video shown the cause. I would highly recommend this company base on customer service and professionalism alone.

Alan and Sanders were professional, courteous and very knowledgeable. Despite me entering in an incorrect WiFi password that made there job much harder, they were patient and friendly as they troubleshooted how to fix it. The installation was beautifully done too!

Solar Panel Replacement When you deal with a company with honesty, integrity, and respect for their customer, you stick with them. My wife and I received a quote that was competitive and prompt. They followed up, scheduled replacement within a reasonable timeframe, called prior to the appointment to confirm, arrived on time. Adonai and Raphael were professional, presentable, and courteous. They discussed what they were going to do and were clear and concise. They were knowledgeable and followed the request on the quote and completed the project in a timely fashion. Upon completion, they explained the installation and discussed any issues as it stands now. Everything performed was excellent and Solar is operating at full capacity. Adonai made sure that the solar was set to my satisfaction. I have utilized Sunlight Solar in the past for my FAFCO repair in the past. They took on the responsibility of a company that removed and re-installed my solar wrong. SUNLIGHT SOLAR made it right. When you have a company that cares about their customers and clearly communicates what they will do, it usually results in complete satisfaction. Great Job ALL! A pleasure doing business with you. We are currently having our roof replaced and needed to uninstall the solar panels for the pool. Henry set up the appointment and Avonai and Raphael did the removal work. They arrived exactly in the promised time window and did a great job removing the equipment from the roof. When the new roof is installed, they will return to reinstall the solar panels. We highly recommend Sunlight Solar and will call them for any work we need on the system in the future.

Let’s talk about Sunlight Solar and their sleight-of-hand contract tactics. They’ve perfected a bait-and-switch strategy, where they conveniently remove key pages from agreements—specifically, the ones that would cost them money. It’s not just an oversight; it’s a calculated move to stick homeowners with repair bills they never agreed to pay. A friend of mine went head-to-head with them and won—but not without a fight. She needed roof repairs, which were supposed to be covered under her contract. When she reached out, Sunlight Solar flat-out refused, claiming there was no such coverage. Convenient, right? But here’s where their scam unraveled: her brother also had panels installed by Sunlight Solar, and his contract contained the missing page—the one clearly stating that roof replacement was included. Armed with that proof, she emailed the page directly to the company. And guess what? They still refused. It wasn’t until she directly confronted the technician, reminding him that she had sent the missing page, that they finally backed down and agreed to pay. But why did it have to come to that? And it gets worse. A former Sunlight Solar employee—someone who actually worked for the company—remembered her case and confirmed without a doubt that her agreement had always included a roof replacement. This wasn’t some misunderstanding or clerical error. This was intentional deception. Sunlight Solar’s business model seems to rely on homeowners not having a way to prove what was originally in their contract. They bank on people not keeping copies, not comparing notes with others, and not pushing back hard enough. So here’s the deal: if you’re considering Sunlight Solar, assume they’re trying to screw you over. Demand every page of your contract, compare it with others, and back it up with physical and digital copies. Because if something goes wrong, and it will, you’ll need proof—because without it, they’ll pretend your agreement never existed.

I am EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED with the service provided by Rafael and Adonai. After completing their work, they approached me and assured me that everything went well, even REQUESTING a positive Google review. Based on their reassurance and professionalism at the time, I agreed, assuming the job had been done correctly. However, the following day, I discovered that my garden lights—valued at approximately $300—had been DAMAGED AND BROKEN. Upon reviewing my security footage, I was shocked to see that one of the workers had closed a ladder onto my projector, attempted to fix it, and then simply left it as if nothing had happened. This incident occurred before they came to my door, FALSELY assuring me that everything was in order and asking for a positive review. Accidents happen, and I understand that. However, what I cannot accept is the complete lack of honesty and accountability. Instead of informing me of the damage, they chose to conceal it and mislead me. This is INCREDIBLY UNPROFESSIONAL and UNETHICAL. I would STRONGLY advise against using their services, as integrity and transparency are clearly not part of their business practices.

I had a great experience with Sunlight Solar to install my EV charger. I used Qmerit via Rivian recommendation and Sunlight accepted the job. Alinne, our project manager, was really good with communication and follow up throughout. Install went perfect (Allan and Lucas), however, my Rivian wall charger got the red light of death after only 4 uses. I reached out to Sunlight who sent out a team to assess the next business day. I had to take the kids to school and these guys made sure to wait until I got back to explain next steps (Rafael and Adonai). It ended up being a failure with the Rivian unit and nothing to do with the install. I had to jump through some hoops with Rivian and Qmerit but it all ended up being resolved with Sunlight coming back out to do the reinstallation (Gill and Marco). Have not had any issues since. Overall, really solid company and have full confidence in them. Thank you!

Everything about this EV charger install was great. They handled the permitting and kept me informed, and when the install day came Marco and showed up promptly at 8 am and got right to work. They were both professional, courteous and were considerate of our house and stuff. They did a great job installing the equipment and set everything up for us. And they cleaned up and left the garage better than they found it. 5 stars for sure!! Highly recommend.

They did the work for my warranty covered repair. Better quality than the previous company used last year. Scheduling communication could be better.

Sunlight Solar team was professional and prompt. I had a leaking solar water heater panel, and they quickly identified the root cause and resolved the issue efficiently. I highly recommend them and would not hesitate to call them again if needed.

24 hour response to reported leaks at commercial pool. Rafael and Adonai from Sunlight Solar Not only checked the leaks that were detected by the professional leak detectors, they did a full analysis of the System. Noting issues that may cause issue in the future. As always, Sunlight solar team goes above and beyond.

Although I was told by the office Rafael and Adonai would arrive between 11am and 1pm they showed at 2:30. I do realize delays can happen so I am not too disturbed. They diagnosed the issue with the pool solar and indicated a new panel would be necessary. Hopefully it is one of the two panels they replaced 3 years ago and is still under warranty. They were polite and informative and I will wait to see about the warranty from the office.
